“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
Jesus comforts His disciples and prepares them for His departure. When Thomas asks how they can know the way, Jesus points not to a route or system but to Himself: He alone is the way to the Father, the full truth of God, and the source of eternal life.
