Every person has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. No one can save themselves by good works, religion, or personal effort. We need Jesus because only He can forgive sin, reconcile us to God, and give eternal life.
What Has Jesus Done for Us?
Jesus died for our sins, shed His blood for remission of sins, was buried, and rose again the third day. Through His death and resurrection, He defeated sin, death, and the grave.
What Should We Do With Jesus?
The Bible calls every person to repent, believe the gospel, and follow Jesus Christ. Jesus is not only to be admired; He is to be trusted, received, obeyed, and followed as Lord and Saviour.
Why Jesus Had to Die
God created man for fellowship with Him, but sin separated mankind from God. The sacrifices of bulls and goats could not finally take away sin. Jesus Christ is the sinless Lamb of God. He shed His blood to pay the redemption price for sin. Through faith in Him, sinners can be forgiven, redeemed, and reconciled to God.
