Stage 1
Begin with Jesus’ invitation and learn the cost, grace, and daily rhythm of following Him.
Day 1
Discipleship begins by responding to Jesus: “Follow Me.”
What might Jesus be asking you to leave, change, or trust Him with?
Write one sentence describing why you want to follow Jesus. Tell Him your answer in prayer.
“Jesus, help me hear Your voice and follow You without holding back.”
Day 2
Following Jesus means denying self, taking up the cross daily, and valuing Him above everything.
Where are comfort, approval, or control competing with obedience to Jesus?
Choose one act of obedience you have delayed and take the first step today.
“Lord, give me courage to choose Your way over my own.”
Day 3
Lasting fruit comes from remaining connected to Jesus, not from striving alone.
What helps you remain aware of Jesus throughout an ordinary day?
Set aside ten uninterrupted minutes to be with Jesus in Scripture and prayer.
“Jesus, keep me close to You and produce Your fruit in my life.”
Day 4
A disciple learns Jesus’ way of living—gentle, humble, and unburdened by self-reliance.
What burden are you carrying that Jesus never asked you to carry alone?
Name that burden, release it to Jesus, and receive help from a trusted believer if needed.
“Teach me Your gentle and humble way, Lord.”
Day 5
Hearing Jesus becomes a firm foundation only when we put His words into practice.
What teaching of Jesus do you understand but need to live more faithfully?
Turn one teaching from today’s passage into a specific action.
“Build my life on Your words and make me quick to obey.”
Day 6
Disciples trust God’s character and move forward even when they cannot see the whole path.
Where is God inviting you to trust Him before you know the outcome?
Write the next faithful step and complete it within the next 24 hours.
“Father, strengthen my faith and help me trust that You are good.”
Stage 2
Build the habits that shape a disciple: Scripture, prayer, obedience, worship, and life in community.
Day 7
God transforms disciples as His truth replaces the patterns of the world.
Which thought pattern most needs to be reshaped by God’s truth?
Write one lie you tend to believe and a biblical truth that answers it.
“Renew my mind, Lord, so I can recognize and choose Your will.”
Day 8
God’s Word guards our path when we treasure, remember, and delight in it.
What usually keeps you from engaging Scripture consistently?
Choose a regular time and place for Bible reading this week. Memorize Psalm 119:11.
“Give me hunger for Your Word and help me keep it in my heart.”
Day 9
Prayer is honest relationship with our Father, centered on His name, kingdom, provision, and forgiveness.
Which part of the Lord’s Prayer is most needed in your life today?
Pray slowly through each line of the Lord’s Prayer in your own words.
“Father, align my desires with Your kingdom and will.”
Day 10
The Holy Spirit empowers disciples to resist the flesh and grow the character of Christ.
Which fruit of the Spirit do the people around you most need to see?
Ask the Spirit for help and deliberately practice that fruit in one conversation.
“Holy Spirit, lead me and form the character of Jesus in me.”
Day 11
Disciples mature in devoted community through teaching, fellowship, prayer, generosity, and worship.
Are you known, encouraged, and accountable within a Christian community?
Contact a believer and arrange a time to pray, learn, or share a meal together.
“Place me in honest community and teach me to strengthen others.”
Day 12
Disciples do not hide sin; they walk in the light, confess, receive forgiveness, and change direction.
Is there anything you need to bring honestly into God’s light?
Confess specifically to God. If appropriate, also speak with a mature, trusted believer.
“Thank You for cleansing me. Help me walk openly in Your light.”
Stage 3
Practice the humble, compassionate love that makes the character of Jesus visible.
Day 13
Christlike love is the visible mark of Jesus’ disciples.
Who is difficult for you to love patiently and sacrificially?
Do one thoughtful act that seeks that person’s good without expecting repayment.
“Jesus, love others through me as You have loved me.”
Day 14
Jesus sees people’s spiritual need with compassion and calls His followers into the harvest.
Who around you may look fine but be spiritually weary or lost?
Write down three names and begin praying for them every day.
“Lord of the harvest, give me Your eyes and send me with compassion.”
Day 15
Greatness in Jesus’ kingdom is expressed through humble service, not status or control.
Where are you tempted to seek recognition instead of serving?
Meet one practical need quietly, without drawing attention to yourself.
“Make me a servant who reflects the humility of Jesus.”
Day 16
Kingdom hospitality makes room for people who cannot improve our status or repay us.
Who tends to be overlooked in your church, neighborhood, or workplace?
Initiate a genuine conversation or invitation with someone outside your usual circle.
“Father, make my table and my life open to the people You welcome.”
Day 17
Those forgiven by Christ are called to release resentment and pursue peace.
Whose debt are you still rehearsing in your heart?
Begin releasing that person to God. Seek wise help before contact if the situation is unsafe.
“As You forgave me, give me grace to forgive and pursue peace.”
Day 18
Disciples restore gently, carry burdens, persevere in good, and take responsibility for their own walk.
Whose burden could you help carry this week?
Ask one person, “What would be genuinely helpful to you right now?” Then follow through.
“Show me whose burden I can carry and give me endurance to do good.”
Stage 4
Understand the good news and learn to share your story and the hope of Christ clearly.
Day 19
The gospel centers on Jesus’ death for our sins, burial, resurrection, and living lordship.
Can you explain the good news of Jesus simply and accurately?
Summarize the gospel in four sentences: God, sin, Jesus, and response.
“Root me in the true gospel and help me speak it clearly.”
Day 20
Every believer has a testimony of who they were, what Jesus did, and the new life He gives.
How has God’s grace changed your direction, identity, or hope?
Write your story in three parts: before Jesus, meeting Jesus, and life with Jesus now.
“Thank You for saving me by grace. Use my story to point to You.”
Day 21
Gospel witness is prayerful, wise, gracious, and prepared for real people and real questions.
Does your way of speaking make people feel respected and safe to ask honest questions?
Practice explaining your hope in under two minutes without religious jargon.
“Open doors for the message and make my words gracious and clear.”
Day 22
Faithful witnesses pay attention, ask good questions, listen, and begin where the person is.
Do you listen to understand, or mainly wait for your turn to speak?
Ask someone a sincere spiritual question and listen without trying to force an outcome.
“Spirit, guide me toward people who are ready and teach me to listen well.”
Day 23
We faithfully plant and water, but only God can bring spiritual growth.
Where have fear of rejection or pressure for results weakened your witness?
Pray for your three names, then take one low-pressure step to care for or contact one of them.
“God, free me from pressure and make me faithful with the part You give me.”
Day 24
The gospel calls people to repent, believe, be baptized, and begin a new life with Jesus.
Are you willing to lovingly ask someone how they want to respond to Jesus?
Practice this question: “Is there anything keeping you from trusting and following Jesus?”
“Give me courage and tenderness to invite people to respond to Your grace.”
Stage 5
Help another person follow Jesus, grow in truth, and join His mission.
Day 25
Every disciple is sent to make disciples by going, baptizing, teaching, and relying on Jesus’ presence.
Where has Jesus already placed you to participate in His mission?
Write your personal mission field: the people and places where you regularly live, work, learn, and gather.
“Jesus, I receive Your mission. Help me go with confidence in Your presence.”
Day 26
Jesus served crowds but intentionally formed a smaller group through relationship and shared life.
Who could you intentionally help take a next step with Jesus?
Choose one person and invite them to meet regularly for Scripture, prayer, and honest conversation.
“Show me whom to invest in, and help me be faithful and patient.”
Day 27
Disciple-making aims beyond information toward joyful obedience to everything Jesus commands.
Does your encouragement help people act on truth or only discuss it?
Use three questions with someone: What does this say? What will you obey? Who will you tell?
“Make me a doer of Your Word who helps others obey You too.”
Day 28
Disciple-makers share both God’s truth and their lives with tenderness, integrity, and encouragement.
What would another believer learn by imitating your current way of life?
Invite someone into an ordinary part of your life—prayer, service, a meal, or a ministry task.
“Let my life agree with my words and point people toward Christ.”
Day 29
The gospel is entrusted to faithful people who will teach others also.
How could what God is teaching you continue into a second and third generation?
Draw four links: you → one person → someone they could help → someone that person could help.
“Give me faithful people to equip, and let Your truth multiply through us.”
Day 30
The Holy Spirit empowers ordinary disciples to be Jesus’ witnesses near and far until He returns.
What is your next faithful step after this plan ends?
Write a 30-day mission commitment with one relationship, one rhythm, and one act of witness.
“Holy Spirit, empower me to live as Jesus’ witness every day.”
The plan ends. The mission continues.
Keep meeting with Jesus, invest in one person, stay rooted in Christian community, and trust the Holy Spirit to multiply what He has begun.
