God Made Everything

Discover the beautiful world God created and why every person is wonderfully made in His image.

Family or group discussion

Big truth: God is our Creator, and everything He made has purpose.

Talk about it

  • What part of creation makes you smile?
  • What does it mean to be made in God’s image?
  • How can we care for God’s world?

Try it: Take a creation walk. Find something God made for each color of the rainbow.

Ages 6–11

David Trusts God

David faced a giant with courage because he remembered that God was bigger than his fear.

Family or group discussion

Big truth: We can trust God when something feels too big for us.

Talk about it

  • What made David brave?
  • What feels like a giant in your life?
  • Who can help you when you feel afraid?

Try it: Write a worry on a paper stone. Turn it over and write: God is with me.

Jesus Calms the Storm

A wild storm could not stop Jesus. His friends learned they could bring every fear to Him.

Family or group discussion

Big truth: Jesus is powerful, present, and trustworthy in every storm.

Talk about it

  • Why were the disciples afraid?
  • What did Jesus do?
  • How can prayer help when life feels stormy?

Try it: Draw storm clouds, then add a rainbow labeled with ways Jesus brings you peace.

Love Your Neighbor

Jesus tells a story showing how real love notices people, stops, and helps.

Big truth: A neighbor is anyone God gives us an opportunity to love.

Talk about it

  • Who acted like a neighbor?
  • Why is stopping to help sometimes hard?
  • Who could use kindness this week?

Try it: Make a kindness coupon for someone who needs encouragement.

The Shepherd Who Finds Us

A shepherd searches for one missing sheep, showing how precious every person is to God.

Big truth: God knows us, seeks us, and celebrates when we come to Him.

Talk about it

  • Why did the shepherd search?
  • How did he feel when he found the sheep?
  • What does this teach us about God?

Try it: Hide a cotton-ball sheep and celebrate every time it is found.

Growing Good Fruit

The Holy Spirit grows beautiful character in us as we follow Jesus.

Big truth: God’s Spirit helps us become more like Jesus from the inside out.

  • Which fruit do you notice in someone you love?
  • Which one do you want God to grow in you?
  • What choice can you make today?

Try it: Draw a tree with nine fruits and label each fruit of the Spirit.
