The promised son who learned that God provides
Isaac’s life began with an impossible promise fulfilled. Through his story, God showed that He provides, guides, and carries His covenant forward.
Who Was Isaac?
Isaac was born when Abraham was one hundred and Sarah was ninety. His birth brought laughter and proved that God keeps His word. As a boy, Isaac went with Abraham to worship on Mount Moriah, where God provided a ram. As an adult, Isaac married Rebekah, prayed when they could not have children, and became the father of Esau and Jacob. God repeated to Isaac the covenant promises given to Abraham.
