Learning that nothing is too hard for God
Sarah journeyed with Abraham, waited many years for a child, and learned that God’s promise was stronger than every impossible circumstance.
Who Was Sarah?
Sarah, first called Sarai, was Abraham’s wife and traveled with him to the land God promised. God said that Sarah would become the mother of nations, but many years passed and she grew old without a child. Sarah sometimes struggled to believe and tried to solve the problem in her own way. Yet God showed patience and grace. At the appointed time, Sarah gave birth to Isaac, whose name means laughter, just as God had promised.
